What 11.11 is
11 November started as Singles' Day in China and became the world's biggest online shopping day through Alibaba. In the UAE it has grown into the opening sale of the season, two weeks before White Friday.
What happened last year
noon's 11.11 sale in 2025 ran from the evening of 7 November to 12 November, with up to 80% off fashion, tech, home and food, an extra 11% off (up to Dh111) with a code, buy-one-get-one-free on more than 1,000 products, and a spin-the-wheel game for up to Dh100 cashback. Namshi, Amazon.ae and many fashion brands ran 11.11 offers over the same days.
Buy on 11.11 or wait for White Friday?
- Buy on 11.11 if the item is a fashion or beauty buy, or a gift you need before December. Fashion discounts are often as deep on 11.11 as on White Friday, and stock is better.
- Wait for White Friday (27 November) for big electronics and appliances, unless the 11.11 price is already the lowest you've seen. TVs, laptops and phones usually drop further at the end of the month.
- Note the price now either way. It makes the White Friday comparison easy.
Tips
- The 11% code usually has a cap (Dh111 in 2025), so it's worth most on orders of about Dh1,000.
- BOGO deals work best on everyday items you'd buy anyway: basics, skincare, groceries.
- Bank card offers often run alongside 11.11. Check your bank's app before you check out.
